Ghad Althawrah Party led by Dr. Ayman Nour followed the statement with deep concern, issued by 31 countries before the United Nations Human Rights Council calling Sisi regime to stop using anti-terrorism laws to muzzle dissidents, human rights defenders and journalists.

As Ghad Althawrah Party considers this statement important  and remarkable, especially in terms of the number of signatories, and in terms of their relative importance on the international scene, after seven years in which the Egyptians, especially politicians, intellectuals, opinion-holders, freedom advocates, activists, youth, members of revolutionary movements and parties, suffered from a colossal brutality, and the global system has a cover of legitimacy, whether by turning a blind eye to these practices, or by the official reception of the head of the regime and its aides. So, Ghad Althawrah calls on the wise people inside Egypt who are keen on their historical, civilizational and human value to immediately stop these practices that belong to past ages, and to turn the page of oppression and abuse with every opinion.

Ghad Althawrah affirms that the statements of rejection and denial issued by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry cannot be an effective way to confront this noticeable global transformation, which is expected to increase its pressure in the future, and the reasonable solution is to stop these practices immediately and offer apology, which have hurt the reputation of Egypt and its people who were The pride of all humanity in 2011 due to the wonderful and civilized scene drawn by the Liberals in Tahrir Square.
